Max Mind Zimbabwe is honored “Excellence in Community Empowerment and Social Leadership award”

On November 24, ESG Network Zimbabwe (ESGNZ) hosted the 7th Zimbabwe ESG Report Awards Ceremony at the Harare International Conference Centre. Max Mind received the “Excellence in Community Empowerment and Social Leadership award” of Zimbabwe . ESGNZ is committed to promoting best practices in ESG, providing education on ESG, and fostering a balance between business and non-business organizations in Zimbabwe and other regions. This year's theme was "ESG Champions: Groundbreaking Sustainability," aiming to recognize companies and organizations making a positive impact on their local communities. During the ceremony, Willard Lazzaro, Executive Director of ESGNZ, praised Max Mind's achievements, particularly its investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and community water supply which have significantly improved the living environment of local residents.

On November 30, schools in the Buhera North region gathered at Mukwasi Primary School to present Max Mind with the Best Community Pioneer Award. Thomas, Deputy Principal of Mukwasi, delivered a speech during the ceremony, emphasizing that the community unanimously recognized Sabi Star as a project that has significantly benefited local schools and institutions. He highlighted the positive impact of the "Solar Water Project" since 2022, which has provided these schools with access to convenient tap water, effectively addressing water scarcity in hot areas. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude for Max Mind's donation of paint last year, which transformed the school environment and facilitated high-quality child education despite previous financial constraints.

Since its establishment, Max Mind has continuously contributed to the surrounding community by employing over 400 local workers, which accounts for 86% of the total workforce. Additionally, the company has undertaken infrastructure improvements such as enhancing a previously inaccessible 31KM road from Gaza to Mukubu Business Center. Furthermore, Max Mind has established the Mukubu Health Center with a focus on public welfare, providing essential medical services and creating employment opportunities for over 13,000 villagers in nearby communities. The company has also facilitated resettlement by purchasing land for constructing more habitable houses and has constructed a power station that can supply surplus electricity to enhance the living environment and quality of life for locals.
Enhance strength, give back to society. In the future, Max Mind will carry out more social responsibility activities in Zimbabwe and actively implement the country's Belt and Road Initiative, demonstrating the commitment of Chinese enterprises and achieving win-win results.

On July 28, 2025, ChengTok Indonesia, the overseas subsidiary of Chengxin Lithium, participated in the donation ceremony of the "Charity Holiday: Making Dreams Come True for Orphans" campaign held at the Lambelu Orphanage (Desa Lambelu, Kecamatan Bumi Raya, Kab. Morowali – Sulawesi Tengah). The event was organized by the Sustainable Development Foundation of the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) to bring warmth and care to the children at the orphanage and promote harmonious coexistence between the industrial park and the surrounding communities.

In June 2025, subsidiaries of Chengxin Lithium, including Zhiyuan Lithium, Suining Chengxin, and Chengwei Lithium, launched their Safe Production Month and Environment Day activities. From facilities in Sichuan to overseas project bases, a company-wide safety culture initiative unfolded under the theme "Safety Awareness for All, Emergency Preparedness for Everyone." The month-long campaign featured comprehensive safety inspections and emergency drills, reinforcing Chengxin Lithium’s commitment to safe operations and sustainable development.
