On December 19, 2023, Sichuan Chengwei Lithium Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chengxin Lithium (hereinafter referred to as "Chengwei Lithium"), received the Carbon Neutral Verification Statement issued by the internationally renowned international inspection and certification group Bureau Veritas (Bureau Veritas International Inspection and Certification Group). Chengwei Lithium has become the first "zero-carbon factory" created by Chengxin Lithium, marking a solid step forward in our "dual-carbon" strategy. The company is moving towards a zero-carbon new era at an accelerated pace. At the award ceremony, Bureau Veritas Group also issued ISO14064 Greenhouse Gas Verification Statement, ISO14067 Product Carbon Footprint Verification Statement, and ISO50001 Energy Management System Certification to Chengwei Lithium and Chengxin's wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Zhiyuan Lithium Co., Ltd. and Suining Chengxin Lithium Co., Ltd.

Chengwei Lithium is located in the Lithium Battery Industrial Park of Shehong Economic Development Zone in Sichuan Province, integrating the research, production, and sales of metal lithium series products. With a production scale leading the industry, its main products include lithium ingots, lithium pellets (sheets), and lithium strips, as well as a series of metal lithium and lithium-based alloy products. Its customers cover industries such as lithium batteries, aerospace and aviation, pharmaceuticals, smelting, and chemicals. In the context of global climate change, Chengwei Lithium , as our first "zero-carbon factory" has achieved 100% use of hydroelectric power by relying on Sichuan's rich hydroelectric clean energy resources. It has adopted energy-saving and emission-reduction measures such as replacing 12kA electrolysis cells with 30kA electrolysis cells, replacing secondary energy-consuming motors, changing the connection method of aluminum bus bars in electrolysis cells, and installing water-cooled devices on the cathode arms of electrolysis cells. This has effectively reduced indirect emissions of energy. In 2022, a total of 3401.04tCO2e of emissions were reduced, accounting for 94.74% of the total emissions within the scope of ISO14064 for scope 1 and scope 2. Chengwei Lithium has also implemented water resources recycling, collecting all production and laboratory wastewater for gas recovery treatment, achieving zero wastewater discharge. Chengwei Lithium has driven a green energy transformation and injecting momentum into the industry's high-quality, sustainable development.
