In June 2026, in observance of China’s 25th National Safety Production Month and the 53rd World Environment Day, Chengxin Lithium organized a series of safety and environmental protection initiatives across its domestic and overseas subsidiaries, including Zhiyuan Lithium, Suining Chengxin, Chengwei Lithium, Aoyinuo Mining, Chengtok Indonesia, and Sabi Star Mine in Zimbabwe.Through tailored activities ranging from safety education and emergency drills to practical training and environmental campaigns, the Company further strengthened its safety management system and reinforced its commitment to sustainable, high-quality development.
Zhiyuan Lithium: Strengthening Frontline Safety Management Through Practical Action
Beginning on May 29, Zhiyuan Lithium launched four themed initiatives under the leadership of its General Manager, including “Safety Starts with Me,” “Safety Talks,” “Hazard Identification,” and “Safety Learning.”
The management team engaged directly with frontline employees to discuss operational safety challenges and coordinate timely solutions.
On June 4, the company conducted a flood emergency drill in response to potential geological hazards at the plant. A total of 211 employees, representing more than 20% of the site’s workforce, participated in the exercise.
On June 30, Zhiyuan Lithium completed quarterly practical assessments for 60 volunteer emergency responders, evaluating critical emergency response skills such as self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) operation and stretcher handling to ensure the team’s operational readiness and standardized use of rescue equipment.

Suining Chengxin: Enhancing Safety Awareness Through Competitions and Joint Emergency Exercises
Suining Chengxin adopted an innovative combination of knowledge competitions and immersive practical training to strengthen employees’ safety and environmental awareness.
On June 5 and June 9, the company hosted the “Green Chengxin” Environmental Knowledge Competition and the “Cheng’an Cup” Safety Knowledge Competition, encouraging employees to deepen their understanding of safety and environmental protection in an engaging manner.
On June 12, employees participated in immersive training programs featuring VR-based safety simulations and electrical shock response exercises.
On June 24, Suining Chengxin joined Chengwei Lithium and Shukuang Huanli in a multi-company emergency drill simulating caustic soda leakage and hazardous chemical transportation incidents, comprehensively testing cross-company emergency coordination and response capabilities.

Chengwei Lithium: Combining Knowledge with Practice to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness
Chengwei Lithium promoted both theoretical learning and practical skill development through safety knowledge competitions and job skills contests covering key workplace safety requirements.
The company also organized comprehensive emergency response drills for both production safety incidents and environmental emergencies, simulating the entire emergency response process—from incident reporting and emergency response to personnel evacuation, onsite rescue, and post-incident recovery.
Following each exercise, improvement opportunities were systematically reviewed and emergency response plans were further optimized to enhance overall response efficiency and team coordination.

Aoyinuo Mining: Building a Strong Safety Culture Across Mining Operations
On June 3, Aoyinuo Mining organized a company-wide Safety Pledge and Commitment Signing Ceremony, while simultaneously expanding both online and offline safety awareness campaigns to foster a stronger safety culture.
On June 29, the company conducted a comprehensive mine emergency response exercise focusing on rescue operations for blasting fume poisoning, supplemented by job skills competitions and first-aid training.
