Chengxin Lithium Introduces ESG Training for a Carbon-Neutral Future

On August 6, 2023, a special ESG training with the theme "ESG value, benchmarking of advanced industry enterprises, and future prospects" was held at the Chengdu training base. Management from Chengxin Lithium headquarters and its member enterprises, along with heads of functional departments such as safety and environment, production, administration, human resources, and legal affairs participated in the training exchange through online and offline channels.
"In our work with partners, we have learned that the main purposes of ESG work are innovation, trend adaptation, tripartite requirements, and regulatory response." Xingong emphasized the strategic value of ESG from the outset. In the long run, as supervision becomes more standardized and strict while mandatory disclosure of ESG for listed companies becomes a general trend. Through transparent ESG information disclosure and key risk identification in reports investors can understand enterprise strategy better; operators can assess existing/potential risks; managers can identify management gaps to improve overall risk control level.
In recent years Shengxin Lithium Energy has been improving management compliance construction & social responsibility disclosure while expanding business field. The company formulated ESG plans & controlled related risks achieving certain results promoting enterprise development.

On July 28, 2025, ChengTok Indonesia, the overseas subsidiary of Chengxin Lithium, participated in the donation ceremony of the "Charity Holiday: Making Dreams Come True for Orphans" campaign held at the Lambelu Orphanage (Desa Lambelu, Kecamatan Bumi Raya, Kab. Morowali – Sulawesi Tengah). The event was organized by the Sustainable Development Foundation of the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) to bring warmth and care to the children at the orphanage and promote harmonious coexistence between the industrial park and the surrounding communities.

In June 2025, subsidiaries of Chengxin Lithium, including Zhiyuan Lithium, Suining Chengxin, and Chengwei Lithium, launched their Safe Production Month and Environment Day activities. From facilities in Sichuan to overseas project bases, a company-wide safety culture initiative unfolded under the theme "Safety Awareness for All, Emergency Preparedness for Everyone." The month-long campaign featured comprehensive safety inspections and emergency drills, reinforcing Chengxin Lithium’s commitment to safe operations and sustainable development.

On May 9th, the "2025 9th China Listed Companies Brand Value List Release Conference," hosted by National Business Daily and academically supported by Tsinghua University SEM's China Enterprise Research Center, was held in Shanghai. Chengxin Lithium was honored with the "2025 Chinese Listed Companies – Global Expansion Brand of the Year" award, recognizing its outstanding overseas development achievements and sustainable practices.
