A Significant Milestone in International Expansion——The Trial Production of ChengTok Indonesia`S 60,000-Tonne Per Year Lithium Compounds Project Has Commenced

At 5:50 a.m. local time in Indonesia on June 11, 2022, the rotary kiln of Chengxin Lithium 's subsidiary, PT ChengTok Lithium Indonesia, successfully commenced material feeding, signifying the official commencement of the trial production phase for the company's inaugural overseas lithium salt production facility.
The ChengTok Lithium project, situated in the Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) in Indonesia, stands as the largest ore-to-lithium production project built overseas with an impressive annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of lithium salts. The successful implementation of ChengTok will elevate our company's lithium salt production capacity to a remarkable 137,000 tons, maintaining our industry-leading position.
At the beginning of the project, the company selected a group of core personnel with rich production management experience and profound professional expertise from two large and mature lithium salt production bases in China to overcome various difficulties and obstacles. Adhering to the spirit of perseverance and daring to meet challenges, the company built a modern large-scale lithium salt production base on a barren piece of land. In addition to dispatching core personnel from China, the project's process and core equipment were designed and manufactured according to the most advanced and mature practices, which not only ensured the project construction efficiency but also guaranteed the reliability of the project's technical aspects.
During the project construction, ChengTok Indonesia was committed to building a green project and established a complete environmental management system to effectively control noise, wastewater, and solid waste emissions at the construction site. With joint efforts from all management personnel, construction units, and suppliers, Indonesia ChengTok completed two years of engineering construction and equipment commissioning for its lithium salt project before entering trial production phase—a major breakthrough in overseas lithium salt production capacity layout for our company. In future operations, Indonesia ChengTok will strive for excellence in guaranteeing operational management across all aspects while actively promoting reaching production standards as soon as possible. It also actively employed local employees to fulfill its social responsibility. Once fully completed and put into operation, this project will create employment opportunities for 1,400 Indonesian employees while bringing significant economic benefits.

On July 28, 2025, ChengTok Indonesia, the overseas subsidiary of Chengxin Lithium, participated in the donation ceremony of the "Charity Holiday: Making Dreams Come True for Orphans" campaign held at the Lambelu Orphanage (Desa Lambelu, Kecamatan Bumi Raya, Kab. Morowali – Sulawesi Tengah). The event was organized by the Sustainable Development Foundation of the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) to bring warmth and care to the children at the orphanage and promote harmonious coexistence between the industrial park and the surrounding communities.

In June 2025, subsidiaries of Chengxin Lithium, including Zhiyuan Lithium, Suining Chengxin, and Chengwei Lithium, launched their Safe Production Month and Environment Day activities. From facilities in Sichuan to overseas project bases, a company-wide safety culture initiative unfolded under the theme "Safety Awareness for All, Emergency Preparedness for Everyone." The month-long campaign featured comprehensive safety inspections and emergency drills, reinforcing Chengxin Lithium’s commitment to safe operations and sustainable development.
