Mine in Africa (Sabi Star Mine)

Sabi Star Lithium-Tantalum Mine project is located in Eastern Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe, about 180 kilometers northwest of Harare and 240 kilometers by road. The nearest port is Beira Port in Mozambique, approximately 300 kilometers away straight line and 360 kilometers by road. This project has a total of 40 mining claims for rare metals covering an area of 2,637 hectares. Five claims have been confirmed with an average Li2O grade of 1.98%, making it the highest-grade lithium mine currently operating in the region. Production began in May 2023 with an annual capacity of 900,000 tons of raw ore and around 290,000 tons of lithium concentrate per year. The remaining 35 mining rights are presently in the exploration phase.
