New Year, New Journey! SDLA Project Team to Argentina Embarks on Mission!
At the beginning of the Year of the Tiger, Tiger Tiger is powerful. As an important project of the company's overseas layout, on February 9, the Argentine SDLA project team has prepared its bags and embarked on a journey to a foreign country. This expedition is another milestone event for Rio Tinto's overseas market after the 60000-ton lithium salt project in Indonesia and the Sabi Star lithium tantalum mine project in Zimbabwe.

Suining Chengxin Annual Output of 30000 Tons Lithium Hydroxide Project Has Been Completed and Put Into Operation
On January 18, 2022, Suining Shengxin held a commissioning ceremony, and the project with an annual output of 30000 tons of lithium hydroxide was officially ignited and fed into the trial production stage. In October 2020, Shengxin Lithium signed an investment agreement with the Management Committee of Sichuan Shehong Economic Development Zone to invest in the construction of a 30000-ton lithium hydroxide project in Shehong City, which is also one of the key projects supported by the local government. At the end of 2020, the project started construction, after a year of fierce battle, has built a domestic first-class, international leading lithium hydroxide production line.

Chengxin Lithium Has Been Specially Invited to Co-Host the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the Lithium Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association
On December 28, the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Lithium Industry Branch and the Lithium Industry Chain Summit Forum was held in Chengdu. Duan Debing, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Duoji, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, attended the meeting. The conference is divided into opening ceremony, 10th anniversary, theme report, high-level interview, industry recommend and special report. Go All Out ! Chengxin Lithium Sets Out for the Sabi Star Project in Zimbabwe
On December 17, 2021, the first batch of personnel from the Sabi Star (Sabi Star) lithium-tantalum mine project in Zimbabwe went out in adversity while the overseas epidemic was still severe. The team is composed of senior technical managers in mining, mineral processing, infrastructure, surveying and mapping, electrical and other fields. Starting from Chengdu, the team arrived in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, Africa, and successfully joined up with the personnel of Max Mind, the joint venture partner.

Chengwei Lithium Industry Has Obtained QES Three Standard Management System Certification
On December 1, 2021, Bureau Veritas International Inspection Group issued the QES three-standard management system (ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system) certification to Shengwei Lithium. Founded in 1828 and headquartered in Paris, France, Bureau Veritas is a global leader in testing, inspection, certification and technical consulting services. Shengwei Lithium Industry has passed the certification of Bureau Veritas International Inspection Group, which indicates that the quality management level of Shengwei Lithium Industry has reached a new height. At present, the new energy industry is in a period of rapid development. In order to make a good management strategy reserve, Shengwei Lithium Industry has set up a "QES Three-Standard Management System Construction" project team since the end of last year. The quality management department has completed the internal and external audits at different stages according to the PDCA management mode under the guidance of the whole process. The project team achieved the goal of passing the QES three-standard management system certification within one year as planned, laying the foundation for opening up the lithium metal sales market and docking high-end customers.
